Event Volunteer Positions

FIRST volunteers play a significant role in the success of the organization while demonstrating the importance of Gracious Professionalism at all times. Volunteers who support FIRST Program Events have the unique and exciting opportunity to watch our young participants learn, invent, cooperate and compete while having fun at the competition.

Below are the event volunteer positions and descriptions for the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Kickoff and Regional and District events. These positions are categorized by "Technical" and "Non-Technical" roles.  Several of these positions will require the assigned volunteer to participate in pre-event training and/or certification while others will have day of event training. FIRST Robotics Competition Events (February 2015 - April 2015)

FRC Regional and District events begin in February with a 7 week schedule at various events in the U.S., Canada and Israel and end in April at the FIRST Championship in St. Louis, Missouri!

FIRST Robotic Competition Kickoff Event Volunteer Positions (January 3, 2015)

FRC Kickoff marks the beginning of the design and build season. Teams have the opportunity to meet at "local" Kickoffs to compare notes, get ideas, make friends, find mentoring teams, learn the game, pick up the Kit of Parts, and get geared up for the exciting competition season.
