The Action

Stuck at home this weekend but still want to catch some FRC action?  Check out the links below for live broadcasts.

Note:  These sites are independently run.  FIRST is responsible for neither their content nor their delivery.  In other words, if you have any issues with these sites, emailing or calling FIRST would be an exercise in frustration for all involved, so please don’t. :)

The Media and Technology Innovation Award Sponsored by Comcast

Don’t forget to submit for the Media and Technology Innovation Award Sponsored by Comcast!  Deadline for submission is Noon Eastern Time, Friday, March 22.  Submission is easy – just write up a document of two pages or less describing your media and marketing strategy, along with your results, and submit it through STIMS.  You can find more details here:  http://frc-manual.usfirst.org/viewItem/9#6.8.

The Video Game

Diamond Bullet Studios NYC Booth

Our friends at Diamond Bullet Studios, creators of ‘Catalyst 2013’, a video game based on this year’s FRC game Ultimate AscentSM, set up a booth at last weekend’s New York City Regional.  Looks like there were lots of people interested in trying it out.  You can learn more about Catalyst 2013, and download a copy, here: http://www.dbsgames.net/.

I’ll blog again soon.

If your team is attending a regional, you can watch from this great site that simplifies finding match results, current rank and qualifying score. The cool thing about this site is the fact there is a prediction center, it predicts the future outcome of you're teams matches.
