Off Season Events
Off Season Events are competitions run by teams outside the FRC Competitions Season. Teams wishing to schedule the use of a full or partial FRC field for any event should read the Off Season Event Criteria and Consideration and download the appropriate documents. Please note that, in order to use the FIRST field, you must have the appropriate paperwork turned in to FIRST at least two weeks prior to your event.
*NOTE: FIRST will not support Off Season Events until three weeks after Championship. Equipment will not be available to ship until May 15th, 2015. All loaned equipment (both fields and electronics) must be returned to FIRST Headquarters by November 20th, 2015.
FMS Lite is a simplified version of the Field Management System (FMS) used by FRC at events. This system can used in place of a full FMS to run Off Season Events.
The instruction manual, which contains links to download FMS Lite can be found here: http://www2.usfirst.org/2014_fms/FMS_Installer_Users-Guide_20140812-1340.zip
Please Note: The download includes an executable (exe) file, which may cause virus warnings for some browsers or users. If you have any problems with the download, please either comment on this post, message us on Facebook or Twitter, or email email@example.com.
If you find bugs, or would like to request new features, you can submit them using the FRC CollabNet site. We do not anticipate releasing any updates to this software in 2014, but welcome feedback for consideration in the 2015 version.
